Ronnie is a legend in the world of Drag Racing and exhibition cars, being in the scene since the 1960s. He regularly thrills the crowds at Santa Pod with his amazing machinery. Blue Max first debuted at Santa Pod's Bug Jam and has been a massive hit at every show it attends. It’s based on a 1972 road-legal VW Wizard chassis, and features most of the factory components still onboard, but also includes one of the wildest modifications ever seen on a beetle… mounted behind the driver is a Jet Provost engine with afterburner. |
